Feeling their beaming smiles like sunshine rays

Delighting in me because I am

Laughter, joy, and togetherness meld as we celebrated

Knowing I am not alone

My hair met the wind, testing how fast I could ride

Becoming free and wild

Body tingling for touch, acceptance, belonging

Smoldering ember awakening

When the callus began forming on my ring finger

Forging a commitment

The perfect gift wrapped in blue and pink stripes
